Russian Tea Cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (plus more for rolling)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2-1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla, flour, salt, and nuts and mix until dough comes together.
  3. Shape the dough into small balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until beginning to lightly brown.
  4. While cookies are still warm, roll in powdered sugar. After cooling, roll them again.
